St Lucia SA LODGES / HOTELS |
St Lucia Lodges |
For purposes of classification the term Lodge is only attributed by St. Lucia Central Reservations to accommodation establishments that in fact are surrounded by larger tracts of land teeming with wildlife notwithstanding that several, within town limits, establishments actually call themselves "Lodge" albeit being either a basic self-catering accommodation or bed-and-breakfast facility by nature. Lodges, being usually situated in remote locations, therefore normally cater for full meal facilities as part of the accommodation package. |

St. Lucia, being a developed settlement within the boundaries of the Greater St. Lucia Wetland Park therefore has no establishments classified as true Lodges within the grading as applied by St. Lucia Central Reservations. The Greater St. Lucia Wetland Park is still in the infant stage of development and therefore has limited facilities within it's boundaries gradeable as Lodge but the area around the Park boasts with some of the best up-market Lodges available in Northern KwaZulu/Natal. |
